Windows 10: Wi-Fi driver qcwlan64.sys causing PC to crash

Hi,I got my PC about a month ago and in the last week it has crashed 4 times it restarts right away.Using BlueScreenView, I've narrowed the problem down to a Qualcomm Wi-Fi driver, qcwlan64.sys screenshot. I only have the latest dump because I attempted Windows' "Fix Problems using Windows Update" recovery option, but the previous dumps all showed the same driver and error SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED. I tried sfc /scannow and DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth but crashes persisted afterwards.Before this latest crash, I tried reinstalling the driver. On the manufacturer's

BSOD - qcwlan64.sys error

Dear Community,

After reinstalling and fully updating windows 11 on a lenovo thinkpad laptop I get repeated and very frequent bsod errors with no stop number but reference to file qcwlan64.sys. I checked qualcom drivers via Windows Decice Manager but windows indicates most recent version is installed. The laptop is practically rendered useless. Quite honestly surprised a new laptop with proper updates fails in such significant manner. I reinstalled twice now.

I would suggest you to follow the methods below:

Method 1: Run the Hardware and Device troubleshooter by following the steps below:

• Click on the Start button, and type “Troubleshooting” on the search bar.
• Click on troubleshooting, then click on “Hardware and sound”.
• Under Hardware and sound, click on “hardware and devices”.
• A pop-up will appear, click on the “Next” button and your hardware troubleshooting will start.

Method 2: The issue may occur if the drivers for Wi-fi are not installed or updated. I suggest you to install/update the latest version for Wi-fi drivers by following the steps below.

• Press ‘windows key + R’ and type ‘devmgmt.msc’ and press Enter.
• Expand ‘Network adapter’ and right click on Wi-fi driver and select update.
