Windows 10: Wi fi Issue on Lenovo Yoga Laptop with Windows 10 64 bit

I had issues related to the Blue screen coming after I went on the upgraded Windows 10. I was well advised in this forum to downgrade by wifi driver which I did. The link to this issue is in https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us...10-after/7715000e-4555-4366-8862-feab9ec1c7d2



Now the Blue screen issue seems to have gone for the Blue Screen. But I see that my wifi when it wakes from the hibernation does not connect and I am not able to connect. The proxy symbol comes and when I try to go in the aeroplane mode, I can not come out of that. The wifi can only be on when I restart the PC which is a long process. Lenovo Yoga 920 / Qualcomm Atheros QCA61X4a -- slow wifi

Hi Krib,

Not sure why your Yoga 920 is acting up but if you've got Lenovo Companion you could open it and click System Update to see if there are any drivers for the Wi-Fi card. I'm running a 2017 Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga and have no Wi-Fi issues. The laptop is running Windows 10 Pro. with the Fall Creator Update (1709).

Anyway see if there are any drivers for that laptop and go from there.

Completely uninstall the Wi-Fi drivers and install the correct Wi-Fi drivers for your device:

Step 1: Click on the Start Menu, enter Device manager and click on the result.

Step 2: Click on the section Network adapters and search for Wireless driver

Right-click on the Wi-Fi driver and click on Uninstall.

Step 3: Go to V110-15ISK Laptop (Lenovo) - Type 80TL and click on the section Networking: Wireless LAN (2)

Step 4: Then tap on Intel WLAN Driver for Windows 10 (64-bit) - Lenovo V110-15ISK and hit the Download icon to download the Wi-Fi drivers.

Step 5: Install the Wi-Fi drivers on your machine (Ethernet cable should be disconnected)

Step 6: Restart your computer once to check the issue.
