  1. Wi-Fi issues

My Wi-Fi disconnects frequently, but when I troubleshoot the issue is fixed, I’m reconnected, and after 10 or so seconds my internet disconnects again. This has been happening for most of the day, even though I “fixed” the same issue a few days ago.

I’ve done everything. I’ve restarted both my router and my computer. I’ve uninstalled network drivers. I’ve unchecked “allow my pc to turn this device off” on the network adapter. I’ve inputted multiple command prompts netsh int ip reset, ipconfig /renew, ipconfig /release etc.. Doing a network reset gives my computer 30 seconds of Wi-Fi.

I’ve also attempted calling my ISP, but their automated and online system does nothing, and I gave up after an hour of trying to get through to a real person.

Please don’t link me to articles, if it’s on the internet, I’ve attempted it.

Is there anything I can do?

    Thanks,

    Callum.

    :)

    USB Wi-Fi Adapter Disabling

Is it on Windows 8's compatibility list (check MS website- forgot link)?

I had an issue with one Wi-fi adapter and it wasn't listed as compatible- All was well when I swapped it out with one on the compatibility list
