Windows 10: Wi-Fi & Lan Adapter Switching

Hello Everyone I'm facing an issue regarding my Wi-Fi and LAN Network adapter. My Wi-Fi adapter is automatically disabled when I plug in the LAN cable. So, How to disable the automatic Wi-Fi disconnect when I connect my LAN cable?I'm using Windows 11 Version.I did try:to change the priority of the Ethernet adapter to 0 from HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\WcmSvc\Local. but also nothing changed. I also tried to disable the Packet priority & Vlan, but still, the issue is there ThanksKhalid

USB Wi-Fi Adapter Disabling

Is it on Windows 8's compatibility list (check MS website- forgot link)?

I had an issue with one Wi-fi adapter and it wasn't listed as compatible- All was well when I swapped it out with one on the compatibility list

 

Hyper-V no Internet with External switch using Wi-Fi adapter

I would like to use an external switch with my virtual machine in Hyper-V. I would like to use my Wi-Fi adapter, but if I set it, my internet is broken.





I set my external switch to use my Wi-Fi adapter.





What I am doing wrong?

This could be achieved by enabling the Roaming Aggressiveness
for your Wi-Fi adapter. Roaming Aggressiveness alters the signal strength threshold at which your Wi-Fi adapter starts scanning for another candidate AP. I suggest you to try the steps listed below and check if it works.

• Right click the Windows icon on the taskbar and choose
  Device Manager.
  
• Expand Network Adapters and right click on your
  Wi-Fi adapter.
  
• Choose Properties and click on
  Advanced tab.
  
• Under Property, click on Roaming Aggressiveness
  and on the right pane set it to the highest value.
  
• Exit Device Manager and try automatic connection to see if it works.
