  1. WI-FI signal low qulity on laptop

I have Lenovo Windows 10 laptop. Two weeks ago I started having problems with my Wi-Fi connection – the signal quality on my laptop is very low. It's ok when it's connected to my home Wi-Fi network and close to router, but if I move the laptop just 1 meter from the router, the signal gets so weak I cannot open any sites. Also, before I was able to see the whole list of available networks and now I can see only my own sometimes other appear, but only for a short while. It’s same when I take the laptop somewhere else. At work it barely connects to WI-FI. My phone and everyone else’s can connect to the Wi-Fi at home and work.

Something happened but I don’t know what. Three days ago I updated Windows update 2004 hoping it would solve it, but it worked normally for only about 10 minutes.

    So far I have:

    • Run the troubleshooter – it cannot find anything wrong
    • Run Lenovo hardware scan – says everything is fine
    • Disabled and enabled the device – doesn’t work
    • Re-installed and updated the driver – doesn’t work/there is no update for the driver
    • Changed power plan settings to maximum performance - doesn’t work
    • Tried „ipconfig /release”, and “ipconfig /renew” in Command prompt. It says “no operation can be performed on Wireless Network Connection 2 while it has its media disconnected” and directly under that is says “no operation can be performed on Local Area Connection while it has its media disconnected”.
    • Tried netsh winsock reset, netsh winsock reset catalog, netsh int ip reset reset.log and similar in Command prompt. – doesn't work.

The connection is so slow. Does anyone have any idea what could be wrong?

Low wireless signal on Windows 10 Redstone

Considering that the Internet connection or signal is working fine when you connect it to your wired connection means that the Windows is working fine. There is a possibility that the computer encountered some corruption with the Wi-Fi's hardware which is
causing the low signal on it.

For us to verify the root cause of the issue, we suggest that you try connecting the laptop to other Wi-Fi connection. In doing so, we can identify if the same issue will happen on it. If it is, we would recommend that you contact your laptop's manufacturer
in performing a hardware diagnostics. In that way, they can provide you the appropriate steps in fixing the issue.

Kindly update us with the outcome.

Wireless headphones interfere with Wi-Fi signal on laptop

I have Medion MD 84299 wireless (not Bluetooth) headphones and they work totally fine.

The problem is that once I turn on the headphone’s base station, Wi-Fi signal on my laptop becomes poor and download speed goes from 70 mbps to 2 mbps.

Is there a way to fix this?
