Windows 10: Wi-Fi slow on my pc help?

So I’ve always had Wi-Fi issues with my pc I upgraded my Wi-Fi to 1gb and still only getting 40mbps download and 30 upload and I’ve also bought a 1gb Ethernet plug to go into the router and then one to go into the pc both cat7 cables I believe and just done a speed test and getting 60 anyway for me to get the full potential of my Wi-Fi because when doing a test on my phone I get 800mbps

Extremely slow Wi-Fi on my PC only?

I just recently bought my PC a few days ago and ever since, the Wi-Fi has been terribly slow. I have really good Wi-Fi and I know it is just an issue with my PC because the Wi-Fi works fine on my phone, laptop, and smart T.V. This is also a good P.C. I
can't even open google without it taking an hour. Sometimes the Wi-Fi will just randomly disconnect too. I need help. Any suggestions? Thank you.

 

Slow wi-fi

My laptop, with Windows 10, runs extremely slow on Wi-fi - about 15 Mbps. The warranty dept at Costco is suggesting running Windows 10 back to the factory default. Do you think this will help? I'm thinking it must be a hardware issue, specifically the
network card?

 

Trouble Changing Wi-Fi Password


I've been following the following steps to change my Wi-Fi password for some time:

1. Launch Control Panel.
2. Click "Network and Internet."
3. Click "Network and Sharing Center."
4. Click "Wi-Fi...."
5. Click "Wireless Properties."
6. Click the Security tab.
7. Check "Show characters."
8. Enter the password in "Network security key."

Those steps have been working just fine, but today I discovered a new wrinkle. If I change the password inside the router first, "Wi-Fi..." doesn't appear in step 4. This isn't much of a problem at home, because I can just change the password in Control Panel before I change it inside the router, but it would be a problem at a public hotspot, or something of that nature. I also tested Brink's instructions in "How to Connect To a Wireless Network in Windows 10," but they don't work for me either. How can I fix this?
