    Lately my PC has been getting slow wi-fi at random times. It will work fine for hours on end but then suddenly slow to a crawl. The problem is, Windows always shows full bar strength. I don't know what's going on. I've been trying to download a 100GB game for the past two days now because of this. If I'm at the computer and notice it, a simple restart fixes it. But what if I leave the PC on all day and come home to see that the game has only downloaded 2% since I left and then paused once the wi-fi dropped? Why is this happening? My PC is in great shape and not made of aging hardware. It's a h

    I would suggest you to follow the methods below:

    Method 1: Run the Hardware and Device troubleshooter by following the steps below:

    • Click on the Start button, and type “Troubleshooting” on the search bar.
    • Click on troubleshooting, then click on “Hardware and sound”.
    • Under Hardware and sound, click on “hardware and devices”.
    • A pop-up will appear, click on the “Next” button and your hardware troubleshooting will start.


    Method 2: The issue may occur if the drivers for Wi-fi are not installed or updated. I suggest you to install/update the latest version for Wi-fi drivers by following the steps below.

    • Press ‘windows key + R’ and type ‘devmgmt.msc’ and press Enter.
    • Expand ‘Network adapter’ and right click on Wi-fi driver and select update.
