Hi there! My internet pings horribly every 15 seconds, with ping increasing to just under 1 second. It does this like clockwork. This seems most severe or noticeable during uploading. I try to stream a remote desktop and the picture jumps and fails every 15 seconds. The problem is repeatable streaming via steam, moonlight, and chromecast, and receiving on multiple client devices TV, phone, etc. This has been repeated across multiple wi-fi cards recently upgraded to Wi-fi 6E card, intel AX210 chipset and multiple drivers for each card. It does not seem to be hardware / drivers.I can solve th

What's the Windows 10 default for "netsh wlan set hostednetwork mode="

I've never changed anything on mine and it is allowed. Code:
    Code:
PS C:\Windows\system32> netsh wlan show settings Wireless LAN settings --------------------- Show blocked networks in visible network list: No Only use GP profiles on GP-configured networks: No Hosted network mode allowed in WLAN service: Yes Allow shared user credentials for network authentication: Yes Block period: Not Configured. Auto configuration logic is enabled on interface "Wi-Fi" MAC randomization not available on interface Wi-Fi PS C:\Windows\system32>

    Windows 10 WLAN Autoconfig Problem

Yesterday when I just upgraded my computer from windows 8.1 to windows 10, the wifi keeps disconnecting. After checking the event viewer, I found out that the network connection service and the wlan autoconfig service has been terminated unexpectedly for
many times. I have used the troubleshooter, used this code that was in one of the post

    1.IPCONFIG /FLUSHDNS

    2.NBTSTAT –R

    3.NBTSTAT –RR

    4.NETSH INT IP RESET

    5.NETSH WINSOCK RESET.

    Used this code from youtube

netsh int tcp set heuristics disabled

netsh int tcp set global autotuninglevel=disabled

netsh int tcp set global rss=enabled

    netsh int tcp show global

But all of it still does not work. The wifi still disconnects after 5-10mins. I have also been researching in the internet and found out that many other people also have this problem, but still have not
fixed it. After researching, I then made a temporary solution to this problem, by making a batch file with the following code

    net start wlansvc

netsh wlan connect name="(Your wifi name)"

And then going to the services.msc, and selecting the recovery tab under the properties of WLAN AutoConfig and selecting it to run the batch when the service stops. This makes everything automatic, without me having to manually start the service and connect
to the wifi. But I want a permanent solution, not a temporary solution that was made by me a ,16yo guy. So can someone fix this problem please?

Windows could not start the WLAN AutoConfig service on Local Computer

I need some help to get my wireless connection to work again.

    • After recent Windows 10 Update, my wireless connection no longer works. I've done some troubleshooting and I have ruled out my ISP, cable modem, and router, leaving the issue to be something within the computer (Dell laptop - Inspiron 7537).
    • The wired connection works fine
    • When I run Windows Network Diagnosis, it tells me that the Windows Wireless Service is not running (see attached pdf report)
    • When I try to manually start the WLANSVC service, i get an error message that says "Windows could not start the WLAN AutoConfig service on Local Computer Error 193:0xc1" (see attached)
    • When I try to manually start the WLANSVC service from the command prompt (as Admin) I get a slightly different message that says "The WLAN AutoConfig service is starting. The WLAN AutoConfig service could not be started. A system error has occurred. System error 193 has occurred. *** is not a valid Win32 application." (see attached)
    • I've downloaded the latest Intell PROset Wireless drivers from Dell (V18.20.0.9) for the Wireless-N 7260 wireless network adapter and have uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers. This didn't help.
    • I've attached some screenshots and a pdf copy of the Windows Network Diagnostics report.
