Windows 10: Wi-Fi works at 1-2 Mbps after Windows 11 Update

Windows 11 version 24H2. After updating about a month ago, the wifi speed dropped to 1-2 Mbps. The router shows that the Wi-Fi Adapter: Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX201 160 MHz 2.4 GHz works in 11b mode, although it should be on 11n. If I switch to 5 GHz, the adapter works in 11n mode instead of 11ac and the speed does not rise above 80 Mbps. On a similar laptop with the same wifi adapter, everything is fine. What should I do? I'm not the only one with same problem

I am experiencing an issue with my Windows 11 device where the Wi-Fi option is not appearing. I have tried several troubleshooting steps, but none have resolved the problem. Could anyone please provide guidance or suggest potential solutions? Here are the steps I have taken so far:

1. Restarted my computer.
   
2. Checked for Windows updates and installed any available updates.
   
3. Verified that the Wi-Fi adapter is enabled in Device Manager.
   
4. Ran the network troubleshooter.
   

Despite these efforts, the Wi-Fi option is still missing from the network settings.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

• A pop-up will appear, click on the “Next” button and your hardware troubleshooting will start.

Method 2: The issue may occur if the drivers for Wi-fi are not installed or updated. I suggest you to install/update the latest version for Wi-fi drivers by following the steps below.

• Press ‘windows key + R’ and type ‘devmgmt.msc’ and press Enter.
• Expand ‘Network adapter’ and right click on Wi-fi driver and select update.
