Windows 10: widgets added to lock screen

I saw the comment. The only option is to select none. I am highly dispointed with this. I thoroughly enjoyed pictures. I am also upset with Microsofts continued decision to remove choices from users. We used to be able to write in the address of the browsers we wanted. The system now operates on edge. My phones and tablets are chrome based so to sync them all I use chrome. I have stuck with Windows despite it becoming more like apple with less user control. My phones and tablets are chrome based, so for syncing purposes I want chrome. Windows Spotlight is an option for the lock screen background that displays different background images and occasionally offers suggestions on the lock screen.
To turn off Windows Spotlight, go to Settings, clickPersonalization,
select Lock screen, under Background select a different lock screen background.

To avoid messages on your lock screen, you can consider the following:

• Make sure that the "Get fun facts, etc" on your Settings is turned off.
  
• Disable “suggestions” that appear as notifications. To do so, follow these steps go to
  Settings, then select System, then click
  Notifications & actions and turnoff “Show me the Windows welcome experience after updates and occasionally when I sign in to highlight what’s new and
  suggested”.
• Disable “tips, tricks, and suggestions”. Head to Settings then select
  System, then click Notifications & Actions and disable the “Get tips, tricks, and suggestions as you use Windows” option.

battery widget lock screen

I recently purchased the lumina 920 and am having a problem with the battery widget when I post the quick status of the battery widget to my lock screen it disappears after I put my phone on charge I find this very annoying because when I go back into
the settings it says that the battery status is still there any suggestions to resolve this would be great?

Setting the timeout for Lock Screen

• Press Windows + I and select personalization.
  
• Select Lock screen.
  
  
• Select the Screen Timeout setting.
  
• Select the time of timeout you need and check.
