Widgets keeps on starting up even after it's toggled off in Settings

It seems the toggle feature in Windows to disable Widgets is only to remove it from your taskbar. I actually continues to run in the background along with msedgewebview2.exe which is dependent on Widgets.exe.How permanently disable Widgets from running in the background?

    :)

Settings icon missing from the Start Menu in Windows 10

    Hello Venkatesh,

This issue might have occurred if you have disabled the settings icon from the Start Menu. I would suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it helps.

    • Click Start, type
Start settings and click the Start settings in results

    • Click "Choose which folders appear on Start"

    • Enable "Settings" toggle button.

Hope this helps. Write back to us with the status of the issue for further assistance.

  3. Most desktop app icons missing from the Start screen

Yeah, that's just a reference - instead of making an All Users user (like public or default), the just point to Program Data as the root folder (tip: launch command prompt and enter
    set

You can see the associations in the list of environment variables.

Don't let me distract you from the issue though - keep focus on the Start list. I'll keep throwing out tidbits *Wink

After rebuilding the index, try the toggle Start switches suggestion ... one suggestion at a time - let me know if /when the list is 'healed'
One of these will be a workaround even if it's "wait for 10.0.136" *Eek

    Nokia Belle Widgets

From this list there are two widgets that are needed officially and exclusively from Nokia because they can't be installed without risking our devices with non recommended procedures. And they are:

    -Mobile Data Tracker, and

    -Small Music Player

    Cheers!!!

    Hi noki2000

How to install those widgets without risking our devices with non recommended procedures(do u mean without hacking)
