Windows 10: WIDI issues caused by network interference.

Hello- Fighting with a WIDI issue in only one building we support. These devices same configuration, all same brands of television, etc. will not work in one of our locations. It connects for a second, then shuts off. Has anyone seen/solved similar issues?Thanks!

Widi issue

Before I can provide you any assistance, I would like you to answer the questions stated below:

• Did you update your drivers after downloading windows 10?
• Did you check the compatibility of WIDI with Windows 10?
• Did you get any error message?

I would suggest that you follow the methods mentioned below and check if the issue persist:

Method1:

I would like you to refer to the link below and check if you can find the driver for your software.

Method 2:

I suggest that you run the program in compatibility mode and check if the issue persist. To change mode follow the steps below:

1. Right click on the application it and select
Properties.

2. Click the Compatibility tab and then tick the box labelled
Run this program in compatibility mode for.

3. Select the version of Windows that the app worked in before and Click
OK.

Widi issue

Hi,

I have Dell laptop with 5th generation core I5, came with Windows 8.1, but after upgrade to Windows 10 , it's same issue, widi not working anymore. Is it called an upgrade ?

Thanks and eagerly awaiting solution as I bought the laptop primarily for widi feature.

Intel widi and anniversary update

I have this problem as well. Each time I boot up I get the notice about the widi being removed. It is not listed in the device manager, but it is listed in the app section. Should I remove the Intel widi app?
