Windows 10: Widows calculator decimal places setting?

Hi Folks,I like the WIndows Calculator but find it annoying that I always get a million decimal places when most of the time I only want a few. I'd really like to see a setting which lets me control the precision of the displayed responses. In fixed mode that would be the number of decimal places, in Engineering / exponential mode that would be the number of digits in the mantissa. Surely this can't be too hard, and would really aid readability / useability.Sorry for selecting "Maps" as the Sub-topic... the drop down did not include Calculator !?

W10 Desk Top Calculator Setting for decimal places

Hello - I use the desk top calculator in windows 10.

Currently it is many decimals and I'd like to limit / set it to 2 decimal places.

I use it in scientific mode.

I have tried searching on line for the solution for this to no avail.

Very much would appreciate your help.

I have not been able to find any information so far that you can specify a fixed number of digits after the decimal point. If you want the decimal point to appear, press the period on the keyboard or on the screen in the calculator keypad.

I'll see if specifying the number of places in the Windows settings helps.
