Windows 10: Wifi 5g randomly almost dies but 2.4 works okay but then not?

I was connected to a 5.0 box and then one day it random stopped working, like online but not. I got so many error messages about when i tried running the windows test but nothing worked. got another box 5.0 and worked fine till I updated my GPU drivers and now I am running into the same issue. I have done flushing dns, setting a fixed dns server, drivers are updated, turned off Ipv6 support, I've done almost everything I can think of. Direct connect worked fine when I tried it and 2.4 works for a bit then just tanks. The box has never been moved and everything worked fine till just now. I have

Wifi 2, Wifi disconnects randomly on Windows 10 computer.

Original Title: Wifi 2, Wifi disconnects randomly

My laptop is running Windows 10 and everything was fine until one fine day, I realised that an additional wifi network under the name of "Weach 2" popped up. Not to sure whether the two issues are related but shortly/immediately after I found out about the
additional network, my wifi would disconnect randomly. This picture is after it disconnects, with the wifi name which I was originally connected to being greyed out (Weach) but at the bottom of the picture the wifi status still says connecting. Strangely,
the 5G version of my wifi works fine.





I have searched extensively online for a solution but none seem to work. Hope that an expert could help me out with my issue. Feel free if you need to know more details. Thanks!

 

Windows 10 5G nbn wifi not showing up

There is a possibility that the wireless network adapter of your computer is not compatible with the 5G Wi-Fi network. Just to clarify, can your computer connect to other 5G networks?

For us to verify if your computer is compatible with the 5G Wi-Fi network, kindly provide the name of the wireless network card. To determine the device's name, follow these steps:

• Right-click the Windows logo, and then choose Device Manager.
• Expand Network.
• Locate the computer's wireless network card.
