Windows 10: WiFi adapter connection is on internet but shows "No Internet" - anyone know what's happening?

Hey, so this is an oddball that I haven't been able to figure out. I am connected to my house's WiFi connection, but it shows "No Internet, secured". Despite this, I'm clearly connected to the internet, considering I'm... Posting this. Hi. Here's a screenshot: https://imgur.com/a/12clSRe

Normally that'd be fine, but I can't download updates because Windows thinks it's offline. And normally that'd be fine, dodging updates... But I've already been dodging them for a long while after remediating some other weird driver issues, so I probably should. I've tried restarting the bits/update services, nothing doing there. Any ideas on where to start troubleshooting? It's difficult to google things like "internet but like it SAYS no internet if you know what I mean right", so I can't find anything on this one. If anyone can help, it'd be much appreciated. Thanks!

  I was not able to work on this issue yesterday ( busy for a 90 year old). This evening I was able to take the steps that were suggested in your email.
  
  When I use “Device Manager” I click “ Network Adapters” I see “ Wifi” but not Eternet in this list. On the “Settings” I click “Wifi” which shows the “On' button.
  

I click” Show available networks”. I wanted to capture the page that is shown, but it will not show. The top line is Network ( connected) but course I have the Ethernet cable connected. Also showing Is Five “ Broadband connections” At the bottom is
“ Network and Internet settings” I hope for your continued help.

 

Randomly losing internet connection on a wifi network

Is that ipv4 pool for DHCP? I usually set fixed IP addresses outside dynamic pool (so above .64 in your case)

Other solutions: like Superfly suggested, new wifi adapter (USB solutions in your case), and found one old HP thread... uninstalling HP hotkeys worked for someone - looks like app was messing with physical key...)

 

Dongle is working properly but showing no internet

Just to clarify, are you using a WiFi dongle to connect to the internet instead of the built in WiFi adapter of your device? Or are you using a desktop PC and is the WiFi dongle to connect to the internet? For now, what we can suggest is to follow all of
