Windows 10: WiFi adapter is connected, but looses internet connection after a few minutes

When I start my PC the WiFi Adapter connects to my wifi and has internet access, I start a ping to 8.8.8.8 and it looses internet connection after about 2 minutes. The adapter is still connected to my wifi, but simply has no internet access.

So my solution now is, to disconnect the wifi, wait 3 seconds, and reconnect it - after that, my WiFi adapter works fine ... for hours ...


But when I go away and windows locks the pc, and I have to logon again, the same thing happens again. Connected for some minutes, then internet lost, disconnect, connect, works find ... But same problem after reboot or shutdown.


I checked the power management settings, is unchecked,

I have the latest drivers installed 2016, but the latest.

Windows Version is 10.0.17763 Build 17763




After the reconnect everything is working fine, but it is just annoying to have to do that on every start/logon.

So anyone any suggestions on this?

LG E900 looses internet connection over wifi after a few minutes

I have a 1.5 years old LG E900 with WP 7.8. Until recently everything was working fine, then out of the blue (ie not connected to an update or something) my phone starts loosing the ability to exchange data over wifi after a couple of minutes of activity.

The problem looks like this: I connect to a wifi network and everything works fine. Then after a couple of minutes I cannot perform any task that requires internet connection. Restarting the phone, turning the airplane mode on or off, or simply reconnecting
to the same wifi network solves the problem for a couple of minutes - then I loose connectivity again.

I have tried this on two different networks - home and work and the problem persists. I have tried to do a factory reset - it did not help. I should note that the phone indicates that it is connected to the wifi network, but it is not accessing the internet.

Any suggestions?

 

Loosing WIFI connection

After updating to Win 10 v2004 I am loosing my internet connection, in fact I loose all wifi connections and cannot see any wifi connections. I have another PC which connect perfectly to the internet. When I reboot my laptop, I can see the wifi connections
and connects automatically to the wifi connection. After a few minutes, it dropsall wifi connections and I cannot seeany connections. I have tried to resore the connections without any success.

 

USB Wireless adapter not connecting to Wifi

Hello

I am having trouble making my new USB Wifi Adapter to work. The drivers are working fine but the issue is it is not connecting to wifi.

1. I am using Windows 10
2. The adapter which I am trying to work is Alfa AWUS036NHA 150Mbps
3. I have also one USB mini wifi adapter attached to my other USB through which I am currently using internet

From the above screenshot, the Wi-Fi 2 is which I am trying to connect. When I right-click on Wi-Fi 2 and click on Connect/Disconnect, It shows the already connected Wifi through USB mini adapter.

When I Disable WiFi and try to connect through WiFi 2 then it shows an error "Change settings, such as making a connection metered"

The device utility does not show any Wifi available connections though there are 2-3 wifi connection is there.








any idea how can I make connect to internet using my new Alfa AWUS036NHA 150Mbps Wireless USB Adaptor - Wi Fi 2 on Windows 10 ?
