Windows 10: WIfi adapter is missing suddenly from lenovo laptop after waking up from sleep.

Everything was fine. I didn't change any settings i put my laptop into sleep mode and i open it after half an hour and the network wifi adapter is gone it says could not get enough power when i looked into event viewer. Please, help me to fix this laptop name is Lenovo.the event viewer says Miniport MediaTek Wi-Fi 6 MT7921 Wireless LAN Card, {d2fd6909-390f-4863-aeec-b85296911541}, had event Fatal error: The miniport has failed a power transition to operational power.i tried everything i can reseting network settings. Restart and try to install driver software and anything didnt work. please he

WiFi adapter gets disabled after wake-up from Sleep

Hi 10F,

I was intending to get into the habit of allowing my laptop to sleep rather than always setting it to 'Never' as I always did.

What happens though is my NIC becomes undetected after the wakeup (becomes hidden under Device Manager) and won't be detected again after I fully shutdown and turn on the laptop again.

Here's the situation so far:

• Installed the latest drivers from Intel
• Unticked the option in Power Management

However the problem persists. Thanks for any help.

 

Wake up from sleep with Microsoft AC Adapter

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community, we appreciate your interest in Windows 10.

I understand your concern to restart the laptop from sleep mode when connected to AC power adapter.

Please be informed us if you are facing any problem with while waking the computer from sleep mode.

I suggest you to update the drivers for AC power adapter from
Device Manager and check if it helps.

Steps :

• Press Windows key + X key when you are at desktop.
• Select Device Manager.
• Expand AC Power Adapter.
• Right on the W and click on Update driver software.

If the drivers are updated, you will not have the option to Update Driver Software.

Step 2: If that does not fix the issue, please reinstall the display adapter drivers.

• 
  Right click on the Start button from the desktop and select
  Device Manager.
  
• 
  Locate and expand Display adapter.
  
• 
  Right-click on the Display adapter
  that is listed and click “Uninstall”.
  

Restart the computer and download, install the latest drivers from the NVIDIA website.

After wake from sleep - wifi won't reconnect

After waking from sleep, my Lenovo Carbon X1 (6th gen) often shows failed wifi connection or similar in the status. I need to manually disconnect it then reconnect and it will work again. Even if I click the 'reconnect automatically' setting or whatever
it is called it won't work.

Preliminary research seems to show that changing the power setting for the WiFi adapter via either

A) device mgr - wifi network adapter - properties - power settings tab or

B) using the power setting control panel then going to advanced and looking for the wifi adapter there

will fix it.

... but... I don't have either of those tabs available to me.

Some have said that laptops with AOAC (always on always connected) won't show these options.

How can I get my wifi to reconnect automatically when waking from sleep?
