Windows 10: Wifi adapter stopped working on upgrade to windows 10 22h2

My HP Compaq Presario Atheros ar5007 wifi adapter stopped working when I upgraded to windows 10 22h2. It says WiFi is on and running but it's not. Does anybody know where to get drivers that are compatible and work with that version of windows 10? Or even a universal driver for this adapter? It was working in version win 10 version 1903.

Win 11 22H2 Hard wired Internet Doesn't Work. Only WiFi Does?

After upgrading my Windows 11 Pro to Win 11 22H2 (all updates applied), my hard wired internet connection works for 2 minutes, then stops working. If I disconnect it from my computer and switch to Wifi, Wifi works without any issues and says connected. What is causing my hard wired connection to stop working? Didn't have this problem on previous Windows 11 version and no additional software was added after upgrading to 22H2.

When I restart, works for 2 minutes, then stops. Every time. Things I have tired:

• Network & Internet > Advanced Network Settings > "Network Reset".
  
• Removing and reinstalling Ethernet Adapter drivers.
  
• Suspend anti-virus (Avast).
  
• Restarted Modem and Router. (Other computer devices connected to the network works fine)
  
• Troubleshooting Automatic Fix internet issues (This fixes it for 2 minutes, then it stops again)
  
• Uninstalled unused software that often tries to access the internet (Removed Adobe Cloud and other software)
  
• Confirmed "Ethernet" is enabled. (Uses Realtek PCI 2.5GbE Family Controller)
  

I have also rolled back to pre 22H2, and my wired connection started working fully again. Upgraded back to 22H2, and my wired connection only works for 2 minutes then stops again. All repeated steps above doesn't solve it.

What is causing my wired connection to stop working?

Wifi adapter has stopped working, wdiwifi.sys errors.

HP Envy 17t with Microsoft Windows 10 (64-Bit) with an Intel Wireless-AC 9560 160MHz network adapter.

My wireless network adapter stopped working on Tuesday. No Internet at all.

When checking the adapter properties I get the following status message:

Windows update log didn't show any updates this week, and I haven't installed any new software recently.

Troubleshooting steps I have taken:

• I have tried updating the driver
  
• I have tried disabling and enabling device.
  
• I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling drivers
  
• I have tried deleting device and scan for hardware changes.
  
• I tried rolling back, but that option wasn't available.
  
• I tried System restore (I only had one restore point and it was less than 24 hours old)
  

None of these worked.

I also ran FSC as admin in safe mode. It detected errors but couldn't fix them. The CBS log has multiple occurrences of "hashes for file member WdiWiFi.sys do not match."

I also tried installing a USB wifi adapter and got the exact same Code 37 error message.

I'm assuming WdiWifi.sys must be causing this but not sure.

Any suggestions on what to do next?

 

Wifi adapter stopped working

The very same problem struck 2 or our 3 Windows machines on the same date. WiFi adapter error. I have since spent untold hours trying to resolve the problems. After trying all the easy steps listed, like resetting the network, flushing cache and forcing a network adapter driver reinstall, I use Media Creator tool to run a complete upgrade to Windows 10. Problem still occurs intermittently. THIS IS OBVIOUSLY A MICROSOFT BUG that was introduced in the January 28 update.
