Windows 10: Wifi and browser problems with windows 10

I'm having lots of problems with windows 10 and I am very disappointed. I really hate windows 8/8.1 but 10 has been terrible overall for me. I am having lots of problems with wifi and computer being slow with browser freezing.
I know its not my computer and that wifi ran great on windows 8/8.1. At first it would randomly enter airplane mode, now after updates it now longer goes into airplane mode, however it drops my connection and the wifi disapears and sometime comes back or i need to restart. I wonder if anyone else is having these problems. Also when I plug in my ethernet cable everything works amazing and flys.

Lenovo U410 i7 8gb ram

Lenovo P400 Touch i5 12gb ram

Surface Pro i5 4gb ram

All devices have the same problem. I know its not my wifi from verizon wireless as it always worked well until windows 10 update and it still works great on my Samsung Note 3 and my wife's samsung s5 as well as our Samsung note 10.1 tablets. I've looked for drivers to update and everything is up to date.

Does any know how to fix this issue, my computers are fairly new and have a good amount of power so I know for sure it's not the hardware.

problems with windows 10 and google chrome

since loading windows 10 i have seen a number of frustrating issues when using google chrome which i have never had before. The most frustrating of these (i have a touch screen laptop) is if i drag the cursor over the screen it resizes either larger or
smaller which is not what i want. Not a techie so whilst i have tried to fix it looking at other issues i have still not been successful - any ideas how i can fix this please?

Thanks John, but there's nothing in that article that addresses the problem. The computer has no trouble finding or connecting to the wifi hotspots, but login cannot be completed because Windows itself is hijacking the browser when it tries to open the login
page. Thus changing any network settings has no effect on the problem, as the network is not at fault. Mobile devices and the Windows 7 laptop have no problems at all. Windows 10 is fine on the home network and wifi, the problem only occurs on wifi networks
that require a browser login or confirmation, unfortunately this is nearly all of them.

 

I'll tell you how I fixed an identical problem on a ASUS laptop that had run perfectly on Windows 7 and ran well on W10 from January until the Anniversary update in early August. I tried everything I found on this forum and two others. Nothing worked. The last thing someone suggested was disabling the adapter and using a WiFi dongle. Problem continued. Nobody suggested changing the wireless network adapter. I bought and installed an Intel 7260 WiFi card and just used the driver which was downloaded on the reboot after the install. All problems solved!!

I must have wasted two months reading and trying everything. Even the manufacturer support inferred I needed a new machine though they sent me a Windows 8.1 driver to try, with the same result.

I'd suggest contacting the manufacturer to determine if they white list any cards and see if they have suggestions for a compatible card. They may want you to buy another laptop but if the cards aren't white listed, a simple card swap to one compatible with Windows 10 seems to be the answer.
