Windows 10: Wifi and Hotspot Icons dissapeared!

After trying to share connection from my pc to my phonenot the first time, it always works usually, the network widget became blank for a moment then the wifi and hotspot suddenly dissapeared. How can i get them back?
I tried running the network troubleshooter and the network adapter troubleshooter, I also restarted the PC twice and disabled then enabled all network adapters but nothing worked!

Windows 10 wifi not turning on Acer Aspire laptop

In order to get the list of available wireless networks, you have to:

1. Switch on Connect to suggested open hotspots (see the screenshot in question);
   
2. Click on Wifi icon in the right corner. Now you have your networks back.
   

After that the parameter from Step 1 can be turned off, networks will be listed normally after restarting Wifi.

P.S. I feel rather stupid at the moment. I thought that open hotspots are passwordless hotspots and so are presumably not very safe. So of course I've turned that off during installation.
Really hard to see any logic in this case.

To better assist you with your concern, let us know the OS build of your Windows 10 PC.

To check for the OS build, follow these steps:

• Go to Start and select Settings.
• Click on System > About.
• Look under OS Build.

In the meantime, we suggest that you try to boot your Windows 10 computer into Safe Mode with Networking. You may check this

If you are able to connect to your mobile hotspot, the issue might be caused by a third-party software.
