Windows 10: Wifi, Battery, Audio Icons not working PC randomly takes me back to homescreen

Hi! So I have two problems...1. Wifi, Battery, and Audio Icons in the corner of the taskbar are not responding when I click them usually a pop-up menu would open if we left-click them, right?. They would respond if I right-click, but it is somewhat annoying needing to open the main audio/connection/battery settings themselves to adjust the volume or change wifi connections.2. Whenever I play a game, there would be times when it would take me back to the home screen the game would be minimized. I noticed that it's only for that software though. I don't usually play other games, just one. So

changing Homescreen options

I might be wrong, but I think OP is talking about Desktop and OneDrive Protected Folders. If so, Desktop folder icon in File Explorer > This PC will show OneDrive's cloud-like icon:





Do the following to change it:

Right click OneDrive icon in notification area:





A small pop-up window opens. Select Settings:





Settings will open. Under Auto-save tab, select Update folders:





Click Stop protecting:





Confirm:





That's it. Your desktop is now empty, OneDrive desktop no longer shown and you can put anything you want to on desktop.

 

Missing battery icon Windows 10

Hi,if You Found the Battery icon is Greyed out,then

Try this Steps...

• Login to Your PC.

• Go to run command,type gpedit.msc

• Under Userconfiguration,navigate to Administrative templates->Start menu and Taskbar.

• Scroll and Click "remove Battery meter icon"

• Click on it and Select disabled.

• Click on Apply,OK to Save Changes.

Now Again Check it on the Settings,You Will get back battery Meter.

This question is no biggie I guess...but I've got to ask...

The "to do list" icon does not appear on my homescreen. I did it the right way, ticked the box and all..it just isn't there:smileysad: any suggestions? TNX
