Windows 10: wifi chip in motherboard never worked.

For the longest time while I've had my pc the I've always used a usb wifi adapter because I couldn't get internet connection with anything else. While I'm at school, I use an ethernet cable which isn't a problem but when I'm home I have to use wifi. The motherboard I have is a MPG B550 GAMING PLUS MS-7C56 which I know has a wifi chip in the motherboard but I can't get it to to work so I'm stuck using the usb wifi adapter and I'm sick of using it. When I unplug it from my pc in the internet and network tab I don't even get an option to use wifi, it only gives me the option to use ethernet. I'

Difference between wifi card and on board wifi chip

What is the difference between a wifi card and on boaed wifi chip ? I have a motherboard with built in wifi chip (intel ac 3168 dual band) and find something quite interesting. After reducing it transmit power and radio frequency to 2.4ghz, games, programs, bios and srivers download speed reduce but seem to have better lossless quality. In simple words, it's like a more faithful copy of the source. I guess it's because a built in wifi chip does not perform better than a dedicated wifi card. What do you think of it ?

 

Bluetooth not working

That's an Intel chip on the motherboard. Have you confirmed it's installed or did you install it? If none of the steps work and it won't take the driver or the driver won't connect, then it may be bad.

If the PC or chip is new you should be able to get manufacturer's Support for the first year. You can always replace it, easiest is a flush USB nano like the one I listed.
