Windows 10: WiFi connection always work at startup and stops after a few minutes

Hello guys,

I'm having a problem with windows since a long time and I never found a way to work it out.

Basically when I log in to windows, I am immediately connected to the last wifi connection I used (my router). I can browse the internet just fine but then after 2-3 minutes, it automatically disconnects from my router and I have to manually reconnect everytime (wifi is not off, it just disconnects from the router). It's getting quite frustrating having to do that. Would you guys know where it could be coming from ? I tried with different routers like my phone and it always does that (I even got a new router from my ISP). It is a desktop and I didn't let windows turn my wifi card off in power management settings. I've tried 2 different pcie wifi cards (different drivers too) and this issue still happens, I even tried placing the router way closer and it doesn't change anything so I guess it has to do with Windows. I tried chkdsk, sfc /scannow, switching from Avira antivirus to defender with no improvements.



Thank you guys if you can help me, I've never seen an issue like mine anywhere because it only happens once a few minutes after startup and never again.

Wifi connection cutting off every 20 minutes

My internet is turning itself off about every 20 minutes, and I have to go to the network and sharing center and run troubleshoot wifi connection 3 a several times before it goes back to normal.

What I've checked:

• The internet works without fail on my phone. The problem is surely on this device.
  
• The wifi connection 3 thing on network and sharing center is the thing that always goes offline (has a red cross next to it)
  
• My intelligence... I'm pretty bad at computing so please explain this in steps.
  

I'd really appreciate it if someone could tell me how to stop this inconvenience from occurring every 10-20 minutes, its really frustrating. I need to answer questions and get more reputation on writers SE .

Thanks. By the way, I ran a scan. Its not a virus or malware, whatever else it could be.

• If you have an identical laptop try comparing the wifi and security settings of the one that does not disconnect with the one that does. If you find any differences change the settings of the one that does not work to the one that does.

Wifi/Device Manager/Settings/Control Panel Stop Working Until reboot

So, this happens about every twenty minutes while using my PC, I can leave it alone for hours and come back and it will be fine then happen soon after.

The system apps like device manager/Settings/Control panel stop working and have problems and I cannot connect to the wifi.

checklist of things I've tried/know

• Wifi adapter is on max performance
• SFC, no problems
• Drives are healthy
• Activated windows
• Multiple scans with Mbam
• WIFI is working on my other laptops
