Windows 10: Wifi connection issues after windows update

My wi-fi disconnects and reconnects around every 30 to 45 minutes, depending. This is a really bothersome problem, especially using VPN. Due to the infrastructure of the apartment, Ethernet and Firewire Ethernet are not options.This came right away with the 21H2 release. By reinstalling Windows without the update, I was able to verify it. No problems with the same driver causing a WiFi disconnect. I was unable to suppress the update, and when it finally updates, the same wi-fi driver gives me the same problem. Additionally, I've never experienced this problem on any of my devices or my Ubuntu

• What is the Version and Build of Windows 10 currently installed? (Type
  winver in Windows search/Run command)

• What is the make and model of the PC?
  

• Are you aware of any changes on the PC prior to this issue?

If your wireless router has a built in firewall maybe it's somehow set to block the ports that Windows updates use?

I'd also suggest if it works with it being directly connected then you could try resetting your router to see if this fixes the issue.

That's my 2 cents anyways. *Smile

• Have you tried refreshing your WiFi modem and still got the same result?
  
• Are all your drivers up-to-date? If not yet, you can follow the steps found on this

Also, can you try uninstalling the WiFi adapter, then restart the computer? This will automatically reinstall the driver.
