  4. Wifi Connection Issues in Public Locations

    Cannot Connect to Public WiFi

I have a brand new Asus 2in1 running on Windows 10. When I first got it, I was able to access public WIFI at our public library and a few of the University campuses where I work.

Shortly after we installed Microsoft 2013 products. Since then I am unable to access public WiFI. I don't know if this is related or a coincidence.

I was able to access all of the 3 WIFIs before. They still show up as connected, but when I open up MicoSoft Edge and try to search or access a website, the response is "You're not connected". Troubleshooting doesn't resolve the issue. The message is , the
"WiFi doesn't have a valid IP Configuration". These WiFi's are trusted, but I can't seem to get around this issue.

When I go to the list of available WIFI connections the are labeled "Can't Share".

I am able to connect to my home wireless (usually) without a problem.

    Thanks for your help.,
