Windows 10: Wifi Connection keeps on loosing and reconnecting every second

I have asus laptop with Windows 11. My Wifi connection keeps on loosing and reconnecting every second, and it's not some error with the Wifi as the other laptops/ computers in the house hold are not affected. I tried using the laptop with another wifi router as well, and it still keeps happening.Reset the drivers, no improvement. Drivers are updated. What should I do next?

This is common in all windows mobile devices(both professional and standard). When the device goes into standby mode, the operating system tells the WiFi radio to switch itself off. That is why you loose the connection. When you again turn it on,
the OS tells the wifi radio to turn itself on again. This time, it may or may not reconnect by itself. If it does not, there is no need to turn the phone off and on. Just follow these steps:

• go to start> settings
• go to connections tab
• go to wifi
• select your wifi network. tap and hold on it and select "connect".
  

 

Anomalous WiFi Reconnection

Wondering what (if anything) this was about: WiFi disconnected on wife's computer.

1. Checked, WiFi itself working.
2. Ran Network Trouble Shooter, which usually fixes such problems; failed.
3. Ran Hardware Trouble Shooter, nothing found.
4. Checked Wireless Card in Device Manager; indicated as working properly.
5. Restarted computer; still no WiFi.
6. Although Notification icon was black, clicked on it to see if anything there, found that the WiFi network was "Secured." Clicked on that, saw that it was set to connect automatically, clicked on that, failed. Tried once more, failed, so deselected automatic connection, clicked again, and WiFi was reconnect instantaneously.

I think that that covers most, if not all of the steps I took to fix the problem. Any idea as to what caused this, and as to why non-automatic reconnect worked without even asking for the router's password?

 

Laptop WiFi looses connection

Hello:

I use my Smartphone as a Hotspot, I have me Dell laptop set-up to connect to the Smartphone "Hotspot" and for several months I had no problems using the internet with this set-up. But in the last month, the few times I have worked with this set-up the Dell laptop intermittently looses the connection I have to keep going into the laptop settings to reconnect.

The Smartphone "Hotspot" remains on throughout.

Can anyone let me know what might be going on with the laptop, that wasn't before.
