Windows 10 Pro 64-bit update KB5023696 was just installed on my laptop on 3/27/23. After the update completed, I now have the following behavior:If I left-click on the WiFi icon in the task tray it no longer opens a list of networks. If I want to disconnect from my WiFi connection I have to go into WiFi settings and turn it off. If I click on the link in settings to view available networks, nothings happens. It never brings up a list. This issue doesn't affect my WiFi default connection. On bootup the system faithfully connects me to my default WiFi connection, and the task tray icon

  2. Losing network connection

Hello Dear, if you have a laptop or a PC with a wireless network adapter, you can see a list of available wireless networks and then connect to one of those networks. The wireless networks will only appear if your PC has a wireless network adapter installed, the adapter is turned on, and the wireless access point is in range.

    1. Click Start, click Control Panel, click Network and Internet Connections, and then click Network Connections.

    2. In the left pane, under Network Tasks, click View available wireless networks.
In case, If you don't see the network you want to connect to, click Refresh network list. If you see the network but the signal is weak, move the PC closer to the wireless router.

    3. Click the network you want to connect to, and then click Connect.

    4. If you're connecting to a secure network, type the security key, and then click OK.

I Hope you solve out your query soon.

Can't display list of available wireless networks

I followed those steps; no effect. I can see from the diagnostics that the signal strength for multiple networks is strong and my own laptop is fine.

I also tried a usb wifi card i had spare; it installed it fine but the part of windows that displays the available network connections still will not display.

I presume that particular module is bugged.

Wifi network not showing up in list of available networks

One of my family members recently gave me a factory-reset Toshiba laptop. When I try to connect it to my house's wifi network, the network does not show up in the list of available networks. Any idea what's causing this, or how to fix it? Also, I assume
that my family member was able to connect the laptop to his wifi network.
