    Wifi diconnecting frequently after windows update


    Hello,


    My wifi is getting disconnected frequently. If I trouble shoot using network troubleshooter it shows error about access points.


    It will be fixed by trouble-shooter itself. The problem is wifi error starts happening within 10 minutes.


    problem with wifi adapter or access point is the message seen after running troubleshooter.


    And It is frustrating to trouble shoot every 10 minutes.


    1. Reset PC , so there is no other software's other than native one provided by windows.

    2. drivers are up-to-date.

    3. disable power saving options for network drivers

    I have gone through all forums not able to fix this.

    Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

    Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
