Wifi disabled after connecting via VPN to another computer

    Hi

I do IT work on the side and I am working on a client's HP laptop running Windows 10 Pro Version10. 0.18362, Build 18362. I am using Zywall SecuExtender 4.0.3 software to connect to the office via VPN. When using WiFi to connect to local network the VPN connection is established the office computer and right away the symbol on the taskbar shows no Internet connection and Wifi turned off. The VPN connection gets dropped and then WiFi connectivity is regained. When doing the same but connected via wired Ethernet connection to the office and it runs flawlessly. I am able to use another computer using the same software and connect to the office using a Wifi connection at home. So it seems that the issue is only isolated to the HP laptop. Any guess on what to look for in finding the root cause?

    :)

  3. vpn is not working

    Hi,

To address your concern, provide the answers to the following:

    • Is your WiFi enabled when trying to connect to VPN?
    • Were you able to use WiFi without connecting to VPN?

If you can use WiFi properly without connecting to VPN, we suggest that you refer to your company's IT folks.

    Regards.
