Windows 10: Wifi disappeared from my software Windows 10 upgraded from Windows 7 only internet...

Windows 10 upgrade from Windows 7. All updates for Windows are up to date. The WiFi disappeared from my software. Device Manager Network Adapter Intel R 82579v has been uninstalled and reinstalled. Properties for the Network Adapter Events has an error message Device PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1503&SUBSYS_20328086&REV_04\3&11583659&0&C8 requires further installation. The Scan Hardware option doesn't respond on the Network Adapter on Device Manager. I have been in the weeds on this for two days. Starts out with an error message Ethernet not connected. I use a Modem to Router to Ethernet for my internet connection. Tested cables and modem works directly connected to the Ethernet for internet service. No WiFi in the house. This Intel network adapter on Windows 10 is a one fits all for internet and WiFi I believe. My laptop is Windows 10. It has three network adapters.


Why doesn't Microsoft step up and solve this problem? Has anyone on this forum a solution? Any advice is welcome.


Given up on my desktop for WiFi. I am going to see if I am successful working WiFi service through my lap top.

Upgrading to Windows 10 from windows 7 and losing internet connection

A couple of days ago I upgraded my desktop to windows 10 after getting one of those MS prompts. However now I cannot access the internet and suspect the drivers from the Gigabyte GA-MA790X-ud4 motherboard does not support the internet drivers required. Searching the manufacturers website has not given me any joy either. Can anyone offer any suggestions?

 

How to reinstall Windows 10 if my computers used the free upgrade from 7 and 8?

Will windows 10 still accept the license keys from 7 and 8 now if I reinstall my computer?

Does Microsoft keep a list of users who upgraded to Win 10 using their 7 and 8 keys so that when users need to reinstall windows 10 the old keys would work?

Do I need to call in Microsoft to ask them to activate my Windows 10 when I give them my win 7 keys?

Both computers are laptops. The windows 7 machine had the serial printed on the back, and I needed to enter that when I upgraded to 10. The windows 8 machine had the serial built in inside its boot system so I didn't need to enter the key when I upgraded to 10, but I did manage to write down the keys using a fetcher program.

Yes, still work, no need to call, just be sure to have internet access when you start to install 10, I work at pc shop and did this few days ago, used a key of 7 to put clean 10(wasn't used for upgrade).
