Windows 10: WiFi disappeared from Network connection after windows update

Hi,I got an update from Microsoft for Win10, post updating my laptop wifi completely disappeared from my laptop.I tried to troubleshoot also i tried to reinstall wlan driver but it didn't work.I also scanned for any hardware changes in device manager and then also tried to add legacy hardware but it also didn't work.I also followed the 3 steps posted by microsoft however that also didn't work. Its impacting my work very badly, Please know me how this issue could be resolved.

WiFi no longer connects after updating Windows

Hi,

I thought that may have been the case the first time it occurred so I re-installed Windows but the fault persisted, same as before, after updating Windows.

I do not get any error messages other than 'there are no WiFi networks available' after they all disappear.

Trouble Shooting Steps:

• Reboot Device
• Update Drivers
• Roll Back Drivers
• Enable and Disable device
• Change device power options such that Windows cannot turn the device off
• As mentioned I did a 2nd clean install of Windows
• Restart PC, connect to WiFi at the lock screen (connections drop and networks disappear upon logging in)

Wifi dissapeared from network connection

Hi,

After the last Windows update (last night) my wifi and ethernet disappeared from the network connections. Tried every option suggested, even reinstalled Windows. Still not there, can't connect to the internet.

 

WiFi appears in Manage Known Networks, not in Show Available Networks

The list of WiFi connections shown when you click the WiFi icon in the taskbar is a list of all the signals that can currently be seen by the WiFi adapter. The list in Manage Known Networks is a list of all those you have previously successfully connected to, whether or not they are currently available.

The only plausible explanation is that for a while that WiFi signal had been turned off.
