Windows 10: WiFi dongle says "can't connect to this network"

Asking for your assistance again. I have a USB wifi dongle where I encounter the message "can't connect to this network" when connecting to our home wifi. I already updated my windows and reinstalled the drivers for this dongle but the issue is the same.

Can´t connect to my Wifi network

Hi everyone,

I can´t connect to my Wifi from my desktop with Window 10. I had an ethernet cable before and it worked perfectly but now I can´t connect my computer to the router through the cable anymore.

For some reason it detects my wifi network but when i try to connect it says i cant connect.

I followed a few tutorials online of how to fix it and still didn´t work.

any help please???

Dongle is working properly but showing no internet

Just to clarify, are you using a WiFi dongle to connect to the internet instead of the built in WiFi adapter of your device? Or are you using a desktop PC and is the WiFi dongle to connect to the internet? For now, what we can suggest is to follow all of
the recommended troubleshooting steps on this article to resolve the issue. Be sure to click

Dongle connecting to wifi but PC Network not

So I recently noticed that my Windows 10 desktops Internet access was playing up.

I would start my computer, where it would tell me I had no internet access, so I tried connecting to my usual router for it to tell me some "information had changed" and I needed to 're-enter' my key, procceeded by then saying that it was unable to connect
to said network. Once it had finally connected, after forty restarts and ten tantrums, it would then randomly drop out every so often, saying "no internet, secured" and I'd experience this issue once again.



I am using a USB dongle to connect to the router as I have no internet card installed, but have never experienced these issues before and it works fine on my laptop.

I have noticed the dongle connects to the wifi perfectly, but then the computers network doesn't. It's odd.
