  1. Wifi Driver Crashing on Certain Networks

Recently my computer has had issues with the Mediatek Wifi 6 MT7921 Driver, constantly crashing and requiring me to fully shut off my computer and turn it on in order for it to work. It has been a constant issue for my computer. The driver will completely disappear as if I had uninstalled it. However, I had moved back home for about a week and switched from a public university wifi to a private home wifi network. However, throughout the entire week I was staying at home the driver did not disconnect or disappear once. This is extremely bizarre when comparing to the tens of times I have to

  2. wifi network recconnects automatically to another wifi network.............

    Hi,

Do not worry we will help you with this issue.

I suggest you to uncheck the option to automatically connect to the network (networkprofile~), try to remove the connection by choosing forget connection and check if it helps.

Try the troubleshooting steps below and check if it helps.

Step 1: Run Network Adapter troubleshooter

Network Adapter troubleshooter find and fix the problems with wireless and other Network Adapter.

    • Click on Start; in the start search type
      Troubleshooter and hit Enter.
    • In the left pane, click onView all.
    • Click on Network Adapter Troubleshooter.
    • Select Advance and click on
      Run as Administrator.
    • Click Next and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the troubleshooting process.

Step 2: If you are able to find the drivers in Device Manager, check for the device status.

    Follow:

    • Press Windows + X keys from the keyboard, click on
      Device Manager.
    • Expand Network Adapter, right click on the driver.
    • Click on Properties and check the
      device status
      .

Step 3: I suggest you to update the network adapter driver from device manager.

    Follow the below steps:

    • Press Windows key + x key on your keyboard.
    • Select Device manager.
    • Expand Network adapters. Right-click on the device and click
      Update Driver Software.
    • Restart the computer and check if the issue persists.

Refer to the article by Andre Da Costa about:

Windows 10 Wi-Fi driver crash on certain network

Hello, so when I try to connect to my school wifi, my wifi driver crashes, but wifi works on my phone hotspot, it works at home.... Works everywhere. Wifi do work in school, on other laptops and my phone, just not on my laptop.

    Things I've tried:

    Updating Windows

    Reinstalling driver

    Troubleshooting

    Restarting

    Clean Startup

    Removing network from known networks

    Making a network preset

When I enter wifi password and click connect, wifi kindda closes after 2 seconds and turn back on after 3 seconds and it's like a glith, some texts overlay...

How would I fix that? And please, no fresh restart, can't do that, I have too much programs on my laptop for school and it would take 5 days to set up everything again...

Edit: If I run "netsh wlan show wlanreport"

    I get this error: 0x3A98

I googled for this error, but can't find anything useful, that would fix it...

If I run this code with Administrator, I get this file, hope it's helpful

    WlanReport HTML File

I have tried this, but it didn't fixed it:

    • Type netsh winsock reset and press Enter.
    • Type netsh int ip reset and press Enter.
    • Type ipconfig /release and press Enter.
    • Type ipconfig /renew and press Enter.
    • Type ipconfig /flushdns and press Enter.

    Thanks, regards
