Windows 10: wifi driver is completely gone and have to use an external wifi dongle to use internet

Hi, so my wireless wifi adaptor/driver is completely gone. I just factory reset it and it just went poof. How do i make it come back, this is irritating and i want answers ASAP, i have also tried alot of answers i have found in this website and nothing worked. i have also tried numerous amounts of tricks and as you guessed, NOTHING WORKED. so i have absolutely no idea how to fix this pls help me pls pls pls pls pls

Ubuntu Help? Drivers for WiFi and Graphics, etc.

I'm looking to install Ubuntu on my 4th rig (one of two dedicated WCG crunchers), an X58 with a Xeon X5670 @ 4,2 Ghz. My 30 day windows trial has ended, lol

So, finding Ubuntu OS is no problem, but I'm looking for drivers for:

• USB Drivers for the motherboard?
• Rosewill RNX-N300UB USB Wifi Dongle
• NV GT 220 Graphics Card
• And Teamviewer for Ubuntu

...I think that's it. Where to go? I'm a complete Ubuntu NooB!

 

Dongle is working properly but showing no internet

Just to clarify, are you using a WiFi dongle to connect to the internet instead of the built in WiFi adapter of your device? Or are you using a desktop PC and is the WiFi dongle to connect to the internet? For now, what we can suggest is to follow all of

WiFi Dongle not working with internal WiFi

I had to set up a networked server and it has to be on a separate WiFi network. Unfortunately this network does not have internet and it is a pain to disconnect to an "internet enabled" WiFi, connect to the server and then after connect to the original WiFi. So what I did was to buy a WiFi dongle and connected that to the server WiFi. This way I can be connected to both WiFi networks at the same time. I had to set the Interface Metric of the server WiFi(dongle) to 2 and the internet WiFi to 1. This setting was found in Change Adapter Options->WiFi(one after the other)->Properties->IPv4 Properties->Advanced. This was done to ensure internet is connected through the inbuilt WiFi card which connects to the internet enabled WiFi.

My issue is that once in a while one of them disconnects from the WiFi and I lose the connection. This is not a huge deal, but it partly defeats the purpose of the dongle which was supposed to save me from having to reconnect once in a while. The disconnection is often a result of a restart. Do you know how I can fix this?

FYI: I am on a Windows 10 machine and the server is an Ubuntu Server 18.04 LTS machine running a Samba server.
