    HelloI have recently built a pc, and Wanted to connect to the internet. When I tried to, it said that there wasn't a network driver. So I downloaded a intel wifi driver for windows 10 64xThe one im using and I installed the driver onto my new pc through a USB.I followed the steps, and it said that the driver was successfully installed. However, when I tried to check the network driver list on device manager, there wasn't any drivers excluding my WAN drivers. I tried checking in hidden devices, but it wasn't there.I tried downloading a intel legacy hardware network driver, but it showed the e

  2. Display driver not supporting and device manager not showing Display adapter option

    Hi Maheen,

    Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.

    This issue could have occurred due to these reasons:

    • Incorrect settings.
    • Corrupt or outdated display driver.
    Try the steps listed here and check if it helps:

    Method 1:

    I suggest you to download and install all the available Windows Updates including Optional Updates. Check if it helps.

    Method 2:

    If the issue persists, i suggest you to uninstall and re-install latest display driver from the computer manufacturer website and check if it helps.

    Step 1: Uninstall display driver.

    • Right-click on the Start Button and click on
      Device manager.
    • Double-click on Display Adapters to expand.
    • Right-click on the display adapter driver that is listed and select properties.
    • In the window opened, click on drivers tab.
    • In the drivers tab, Click on Uninstall option.
    Now restart your computer and check, if the problem persists try step 2.

    Step 2:

    Re-install display driver from the manufacturer website.

    Yes I've tried installing the drivers from the website and that didn't work

    But besides that there are some drivers being dysfunctional

    I understand your concern that you are unable to access Wi-Fi and Bluetooth as there are no drivers under Device Manager after upgrading to Windows 10.



    • Do let us know the make and model of your device?


    This issue might have occurred due to corrupted/ outdated drivers after upgrading to Windows 10.



    Try few of the below troubleshooting steps and check if it helps.



    Step 1: I suggest you to run
    Hardware and Devices troubleshooter.

    Hardware and Devices troubleshooter
    checks for common problems and makes sure that any new device or hardware connected to your PC is installed correctly.

    Steps:


    • Press Windows
      key from the keyboard, type Troubleshooting and select it.

    • Click on view all option on the upper left corner of
      Troubleshooting window.

    • Select the Hardware and Device
      options from the list.

    • Click Next to run the
      Hardware and Device Troubleshooter.


    Step 2: I suggest you to install the latest drivers and updates for your device after upgrading to Windows 10.

    This will help you to find the drivers for Bluetooth and Wi-Fi and may help in installing the drivers.

    Steps:

    1. Connect to the internet (Wired internet connection).

    2. Press
    Windows key and type updates.

    3. Click on
    Check for updates.

    4. Under
    Windows Updates, click on Check for updates.

    5. Try to install the updates being shown.
