Windows 10: Wifi/ethernet are connected but It wont let me reach websites or use apps which require...

I just built a new PC a few days ago, booted up just fine and installed windows 11. When it got to the network part it did not work even though i had ethernet plugged in. I had to spam click continue and it let me in. The first thing I did was search steam on edge, and it said “hmm, cant reach this page”. Strange, as my wifi says it’s all connected. I can only access pages made by Microsoft, some forums and asus website, but all the other websites won’t let me connect.I’ve tried almost everything: using different browsers, installing drivers via usb, updating, troubleshooting, reseting network

Checked the internet services

Reinstall the wifi driver

Changed the adapter properties < Disable all Power management options.

I don't know what I mean. YES ON WIF i can connect to the internet, but you cannot connect to anthing plugged into the same WIFI ROUTER with CAT5 Cable ethernet. My MacBook Pro has WIFI and ehternet, ethernet wont work, but wifi will. My Dell does not have wifi, and I cannot connect to the network or internet at all. As I mentioned, I changed the WIFI Router about a week ago, problem solved, for 3-4 days, now ethernet to the new router does not work again.

 

Make Windows 10 connect/disconnect to WiFi based on Ethernet connection status

Steps:

1. Go to Control Panel\ All Control Panel Items\ Network and Sharing Center > click on 'Change adapter settings' then use the 'alt button' to show menus and select Advanced Settings...
   
2. Under Connections section, select Ethernet, and use the arrows to the right to move Ethernet above WiFi.
   
3. Click OK.
   

Windows will now prefer the Ethernet over the WiFi for connecting to the internet. This should apply for Windows 8, 8.1, and 10.
