Windows 10: Wifi Hotspot problem with Windows 10 Update 2004

Hello,


i replaced my old Netgear WIFI Stick official didnt supported hotspots but still kinda worked with a brand new Intel AX200 https://www.asus.com/Networking/PCE-AX58BT/. However when i create a 5Ghz Hotspot i only see a 20Mhz bandwith with my analyse tools. I use the "auto" setting which should give me 80Mhz.


I tried installing different drivers from Asus side, newest intel drivers but it still doesnt work.
Also confusing that my card is using channels over 140 for the hotspot.


After reading some posts it looks like it could be a problem with the newest Update 2004. In the old Version 1909 it should still work but downgrading an old system is not so easy.


Do you have an idea what i could do?

Wifi network not appearing after recent Win 10 monthly patch

Someone else on another forum suggested I switch the wifi freq on my Android Nexus 5x. So I switched it from 5ghz to 2.4 and it worked! Problem solved. Now my Nexus hotspot is again appearing in my Win 10 list of available wifi networks. So problem was with Android and not Windows.
