1. WIFI Internet connection fails when connecting extra Monitor

Dear Microsoft / Other helpful experts,

I hope you can help me here.

I recently bought an Acer PC with Windows 10 which I am connecting to theinternet via WIFI connection. Everything was working fine in thebeginning.

Facts:
Windows 10 HOME, version 2004
IntelR Wi-Fi 6 AX201, 160 Mhz

Now after I have connected an extra monitor, so I am using twomonitors, it is somehow affecting the internet connection.

When I disable monitor number 2 the internet is working perfectly again via the WIFI andwithout any problems - when connecting the extra monitor again the internetconnection disconnects, is very slow or is very unstable.

Is is obvious for me that the issue with wifi internet connection is somehowcreated/connected by the usage of two monitors.

I hope you can help me. Thanks so much in advance.

:)

2. Internet connection speeds

I'm really curious about this, considering the amount of hoopla every major internet connection provider likes to claim about their services, and many times exaggerated just to help their own sales . . .

So, with that in mind, anyone willing to post up their download/upload connection speeds, and we can see just how much of a difference there is in the various internet connection types.

Hit up Speedtest by Ookla - The Global Broadband Speed Test, choose the location closest to your home and begin the test, afterwards, copy and paste your result here. Also, please list what type of connection you have (dial-up, cable, DSL, VDSL, FiOS, etc) - if you are running through an ethernet connection, please also list whether it's a direct connection, or your LAN/WiFi connection speeds.

So, I guess I'lll start:

Verizon standard DSL - D-Link 802.11g 54Mbps

When will the wifi connectivity problems be solved?

OK, so the Windows 10 engineers bollixed up the wifi connectivity part of the operating system. Everybody knows that by now. It seems they are making some progress in resolving it. Now, instead of seeing "Secured, No Internet" on your list of wifi connections, you see "Connected, Secured" EXCEPT no webpages will load. So you really aren't connected. It does seem to be a step in the right direction. Does anybody know when they plan on a full and complete repair of this screw up of epic proportions?

4. WIFI Internet connection fails when connecting extra Monitor

Internet Connection

I was not able to work on this issue yesterday ( busy for a 90 year old). This evening I was able to take the steps that were suggested in your email.

When I use “Device Manager” I click “ Network Adapters” I see “ Wifi” but not Eternet in this list. On the “Settings” I click “Wifi” which shows the “On' button.
I click” Show available networks”. I wanted to capture the page that is shown, but it will not show. The top line is Network ( connected) but course I have the Ethernet cable connected. Also showing Is Five “ Broadband connections” At the bottom is
“ Network and Internet settings” I hope for your continued help.
