Windows 10: wifi internet keeps disconnecting

The wifi connection to my laptop will disconnect but it will show 'connect, no internet'. It happens very often and comes back automatically after some time. It has been happening only to the laptops connected to that specific network-provided router. I also got to know that all my neighbors who are having wifi connection from the same provider are experiencing the same. I appreciate if someone could share their views on it

Don't know if you have tried this, but this is my suggestion:

Settings >Network & Internet > Wi-Fi > Manage Wi-Fi Settings
Go to the settings under the Wi-Fi Sense heading
Turn off "Connect to suggested open hotspots"
and/or
Turn off "Connect to networks shared by my friends"

Thanks for the suggestion, both of those settings are already turned off.

• If you have an identical laptop try comparing the wifi and security settings of the one that does not disconnect with the one that does. If you find any differences change the settings of the one that does not work to the one that does.

• If you do not have an identical laptop see this post and the three replies for possible solutions: Wifi disconnects every 5 minutes.
