Windows 10: WiFi issues on new prebuilt PC

I recently bought a new pre built computer. Everything was fine up until I moved the computer to my house It came to my mom's house. Once here, it immediately struggled with the WiFi. At first the PC didn't even show a Wifi option in the control center. I restarted the device but had major trouble connecting it to the internet. It didn't connect at all, but had no problem connecting to my phone's hotspot which I then used to try and find results for my issues. I saw a lot of articles suggesting to lower the properties of my WiFi driver both the 5g and the 2.4g down to the option before

Buying a prebuilt pc

I am considering about getting a prebuilt gaming pc but I am worried it might not come with an activated key and I do not want to spend 150$ for a new activation key should I buy a prebuilt pc? or do I buy one from a popular brand? or do I just not buy a prebuilt gaming pc?

No I have not asked them yet I am just looking at some on amazon, target, etc. Though I am just considering, I am worried about it because I have built a budget pc and when I finished building it, I wanted to change the background and found out I couldn't That was when I realized I need a product key, Unfortunately I got scammed 25$ due to adrenaline rush and not being careful. I then found out a new and safe product key is 150$ on Microsoft and so I probably won't be building a new pc anytime sooner as I just want to play it safe and just buy a prebuilt gaming pc from like Alienware, Acer, Lenovo, etc. I plan on buying a prebuilt later on in the future when I have money.

 

Edge Search Does Not Permit Change of Region

Thank you for posting the query on Microsoft Community. I am glad to assist you on this.
We have reproduce the issue here and we are able to access non-regional search for google using Microsoft Edge.
I would suggest you to try the below steps and check if it helps.
Step 1:
Clear browsing data option of Microsoft Edge and check if you face the issue. To do so perform the steps below.

1. Click on the More actions icon next to the feedback icon present on top right corner of the Project Spartan homepage.
2. Select Settings and click on Choose what to clear.
3. Check the boxes Browsing history, Cookies and saved website data and Cached data and files and click on Clear.

Step 2:
I suggest you to create a new user account and check if the issue occurs.

1. Go to Settings.
2. Choose Accounts and then select Family and other users.
3. Select add someone else on this PC.
4. Enter a user name and hit next.
5. Click on Finish.
6. Sign out from the current Account and Log into the new account.

Step 3:
It could also happen because of network issue. I suggest you to try with different network connection and check if it helps.
