Windows 10: Wifi just goes off.

Every day at around 11PM if I am online, I lose WIFI. When I try to find available networks there are none listed. So, I refresh the window I was in, and the "no network" window pops up and asks if I want to run a diagnostic, which I do, and it brings it back?!?! But why does it do this?I have a new laptop with Windows 11 and my WIFI is from Xfinity. The TV works of the network as well but seems unaffected.Any thoughts?

Wifi adapter disappears - goes 'hidden'


Running Windows 10 on an Acer laptop. Over the past month, the wifi connection dropped without explanation/warning.

First time, the adapter was visible in Device Manager (with a yellow triangle next to it). An interent search found the suggestion to uninstall it and restart. That worked.

Today, the connection dropped again. In Device Manager at first I could not see the wifi adapter listed. I clicked to see hidden devices and found the adapter and the Bluetooth (which I had not noticed was missing).

I again uninstalled, restarted, and both the wifi and bluetooth have returned.

Anyone any ideas as to what is happening, why it's happening, and what I need to do, please?

I have attached a screenshot of the DM windows as it is now, showing the wifi adapter name, etc.

Pavilion x2 not connecting to wifi

Hi,

To resolve your concern about the error message you're encountering which says
WiFi doesn't have valid IP configuration, we suggest for you to follow these steps and see if it helps:

• Hold down the Shift key.
• Perform a shutdown from the Start menu.
• Don't let go of the Shift key until your laptop is off.

Can't uncheck WIFI "Connect Automatically"

Hi,

Have you tried removing the network from the list? Your network credentials may still be saved on your Wifi settings.

We suggest you to remove the preferred network and reconnect it. Follow the steps below:

• Press Windows icon.
• Click Settings.
• Select Network and Internet.
  
• On the left pane, click Wifi.
• Click on link Manage Wifi Settings.
• There is prompt, click on Manage known networks
• Select the network you want to forget.

Once you remove the network it will no longer appear on the list. You may need to reconnect it, if you want.
