wifi keyboard and mouse inactive during POST

I use a Logitech K330 usb/wifi keyboard and mouse which works fine once Windows 10 is booted. However, I wish to get into the UEFI (of my ASROCK 990X Extreme6) and find that the keyboard/mouse is not working and I can't, therefore, use the F2 entry to the UEFI when the Bios flash screen appears.
Do I have to unplug the keyboard usb RX (for the keyboard/mouse) and plug in an old PS/2 k/b and seperate mouse, and then re-boot? Indeed, will this work at all.
Once in the setup - how do I set the system to see the wifi k/b during post.
    regards
    Dave Hickman

Turn off mouse hover - Windows 10

My regular PC mouse, during moments of inactivity, would perform a right click (watching a video, reading a web page, inactivity on the desktop, etc).

This started right after my Windows 10 upgrade.

Mouse and keyboard freezing if inactive after KB3150513 update.

I got this update two days ago, and I get a keyboard freeze and mouse freeze regularly, especially if I go away for lunch. I have turned off the hibernate options, deferred the updates.

I had trouble with this update in October as well. I think it was withdrawn that time. Its very annoying as I am working here today.

Drivers appear to be up to date (but they are from 2006!) for keyboard, mouse, and USB controllers. Much of my hardware is a bit old apart from new disks.

Uninstalling the update appears to fix it, but then of course, as I am on ethernet, it gets installed again.

I don't mind replacing a few old items, if I knew which ones were the culprits.
