Windows 10: Wifi missing in network and internet settings on Windows 10

Hi support,


I hope you are well. I am unable to access wifi because wifi is missing in my network and internet settings. I've tried to download the drivers that seem to be missing but the Installshield Wizard never comes up to complete the install process. Can you please assist me in getting my wifi working on my new machine? Many thanks in advance and let me know if you need anything from me. Wifi settings are missing

My Wifi settings are missing. I tried the steps as given in: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4023503/surface-wi-fi-settings-are-missingbut
that didn't solve the issue.

Here some details:

• Windows 10 home / 1709 / 16299.125
• I installed all Windows udpates.
• In device manager I don't see under networkadapter the Marvell Avastar.
• The troubleshooter didn't solve the problem.
• Problem started a week ago, reason is unknown.
• I don't know which surface I have, or what surface even is.

Hopefully someone can help me to get the wifi settings back, need internet wireless.

Do not worry, it can be fixed.

Restart Surface and check.

It could be due to incorrect settings or missing updates or damaged drivers.

I suggest you to try the steps provided below and check if it helps.

No WiFi in Win10 Pro (1903) Windows Sandbox

I (seemingly) successfully updated my Surface Pro 6 to v.1903 today, and after some initial fumbles enabling it, now have Windows Sandbox enabled and it seems to open just fine. However, there is no WiFi access within Sandbox.

Accessing Settings for Network & Internet, the list on the left is:
Status
Ethernet
Dial-up
VPN
Airplane mode
Date usage
Proxy
WiFi appears no place in that window. Network status shows No Internet Access.

What step am I missing to be able to access the internet from within the Sandbox using my computer's WiFi connection?
