Windows 10: Wifi Network Not Showing Up, Hidden Network in it's place?

My home wifi network does not show up anymore on one of several devices in my home. I can see my neighbors' networks both 5 and 2.4 connections and can even see and connect to my phone hotspot, but my wifi is no longer listed, even though it shows up as normal on all other devices. Now there is a "hidden network" shown that I'm pretty sure is suppose to be my wifi since it has a strong signal and my other devices don't have a hidden network on their list of available networks, but although I enter my wifi name and password as requested, it will not accept it and connect to internet. When you look at the list of available networks, the "Hidden Network" is not a particular WiFi network but instead a generic indicator to show you that there are networks in range that have hidden their SSID, or network name.

This is normal behaviour, and presents no issue for you. You can ignore the hidden networks.

Delete "hidden network"

I have a network named "hidden network" in my list of wireless networks. This network is not mine and it is not secured. (it is marked as Open)

I want to remove the risk of accidentally connecting to this network, as I do not know what it is.

Secondly, I want to remove it because it is there and it should not.

So does anyone know how to remove it and/or prevent it from being a possible choice?

The network is not showing under the "Manage known networks" in the Network & internet/WiFi section.

The network is not showing in the list produced by the Command "netsh wlan show profiles" executed from an administrator Command prompt.

The only place I see this Network is in "Show available networks"

One more detail: In the "Show available networks" list, this network is shown with a shield icon containing an exclamation point.

Help to remove this network entry would be much appreciated.

Wifi Hidden Network

Hi,

Win 10 doesn't connect to my hidden network. It shows as a Hidden Network in the available networks list and i have to select it and manually enter the SSiD and password each time. These are getting added to known network list with number appended such as
HiNetwork, HiNetwork 2, HiNetwork 3, but again doesn't connect. Adding the network after deleting all these entries also isnt helping. Just have to enter the SSiD and the password each time!!
