  1. WiFi netwrok adapter's IPv4 setting keep changing to static IP "use following IP" Upon Reboot

Yesterday suddendly my PC can't connect to network.

Upon exploring, I found that my WiFi adapter's IPv4 setting was set to Static IP "use following IP".

I change it to use dynamic IP "Obtain IP automatically" and the network would resume

But then i reboot my PC, and the setting was back to static IP

What is wrong with my PC?

    Please help

    thankyou very much

    :)

  2. IPv4 settings keep resetting after reboot

I'm trying to have a static ip for each device on my LAN.

I went to Network and sharing center => Change adapter settings => right clicked on my WiFi adapter => properties => IPv4 => changed the addresses to include the static IP that I want (IP address) and the IP of my router (default gateway).

    Everything works.

Then I reboot windows and all these fields are blank and I have to input everything again...

    I'm on Windows 10

  3. Static IP on Lumia 950.

    Hi,

Follow the steps below and check if the features to apply static IP is available in your device.

    • Navigate to settings.
    • Search or navigate to “Wi-Fi”.
    • Scroll all the way down and tap “static ip”.
    • Turn on “Configure network settings manually”.
    • Key in the IP address, subnet mask and other details

Note: Do remember that your router / DHCP should support allocating static IP for this feature to work.

If the above feature is not available then your model may not support the same.

    Hope this helps

    Regards
