Windows 10: Wifi not available on PC

I just bought a new computer Windows 10 pro 2 days ago. And I'm facing a serious problem because I can't see Wifi option on Network and Internet. And I can't access internet using my pc. Then I went to device manager and tried to check the Wifi adapter, but it isn't there. So I tried downloading some Wifi Drivers and installing them manually but they are still not appearing on the network adapter list. I even tried turning on the WWAN Auto Config, WLAN Auto Config and Wifi direct services, but still no luck. Please help

"WiFi- Show Available Networks" does not list wireless routers anymore

It is good to be cautious at all times. To set an expectation regarding the concern, the

Windows 10 wifi not turning on Acer Aspire laptop

In order to get the list of available wireless networks, you have to:

1. Switch on Connect to suggested open hotspots (see the screenshot in question);
   
2. Click on Wifi icon in the right corner. Now you have your networks back.
   

After that the parameter from Step 1 can be turned off, networks will be listed normally after restarting Wifi.

P.S. I feel rather stupid at the moment. I thought that open hotspots are passwordless hotspots and so are presumably not very safe. So of course I've turned that off during installation.
Really hard to see any logic in this case.

Thank you for reaching out to us. We suggest you to try to disable auto turn-off of WiFi device by following the steps below:

• Go to Network and Sharing Center.
• At the right pane, click Change adapter settings.
• Right click on your connection name (WiFi name) and Properties.
• Click the Configure... button.
• Go to Power Management tab.
• Uncheck/disable the radio button for "Allow this device to turn off this device to save power".
• 
  Restart the PC (Important)
