Windows 10: WiFi not being recognized after switching electricity on and off

Hi All,To fix something in the house I had to switch off the electricity in the house. After switching on the electricity, my Windows is not recognizing the WiFi network which I have used for the last 7 years.This is strange because my mobile is able to connect back on the Wifi.Do you know why this is and how to fix this, please?Please see my Windows system details source System Information:OS Name Microsoft Windows 11 Home Version 10.0.22631 Build 22631 Thanks,Naveen

Lumia 820 Wifi

Thanks Angelika for your response.
I am already aware about the Wifi setting and switching on steps. I have been using it for other Hot-spots.

My query is whether JoikuSpot Wifi hot spot is compatible or not with Lumia 820? Lumia 820 is not recognizing this as wifi source and it doesn't appear in list!

I visited website of JoikuSpot also but couldn't get much help!

Sorry for the delay in replying.

If you have not yet tried this then you may run the network troubleshooter to check the status. You will be able to solve some problems by running a troubleshooter that will automatically fix some common issues with Windows Update.

Open the Network troubleshooter by following these steps:

• 
  Press Windows key + X and click on
  Control Panel.
  
• 
  Click on Troubleshooting and click on
  View All.
  

Click on “Network Adapter” troubleshooter to fix problems with
Network Adapter. Follow the on-screen directions to run this troubleshooter and restart the computer to check if this helps.

Further if you have a WiFi router then suggest you to reset the router to check if that helps.

Windows 10 wifi not turning on Acer Aspire laptop

In order to get the list of available wireless networks, you have to:

1. Switch on Connect to suggested open hotspots (see the screenshot in question);
   
2. Click on Wifi icon in the right corner. Now you have your networks back.
   

After that the parameter from Step 1 can be turned off, networks will be listed normally after restarting Wifi.

P.S. I feel rather stupid at the moment. I thought that open hotspots are passwordless hotspots and so are presumably not very safe. So of course I've turned that off during installation.
Really hard to see any logic in this case.
