  1. Wifi not popping up

Hello, I am trying to connect my grandmas computer to the wifi. Her computer has windows 8 and our wifi is not popping up as an available network to even connect to. I have updating it and restarting and the wifi will not pop up. Any other updates her computer might need won’t let me unless it’s connected to the internet. Any help please!?

    :)

Windows Security sign in pop up

Since you are still getting this pop up window, the next suggestion we have is to reset the network. Kindly refer to the steps below:

    • Click on Start.
    • Go to Settings.
    • Select Network & Internet.
    • On the Status tab, click on Network reset.

Doing this will make Windows forget the connection credentials and other networking components. You may have to re-enter you WiFi credentials if you will attempt to connect to your home network.

    Let us know the results.

WiFi Settings Window pops up upon WiFi connections since last update (Creator?)

    Hello,

    • The pop-up is the Settings>WiFi window.
    • Depends on the location. Some have 2-3 others many, normally there are only one or two Open (unsecured) connections available.
    • Yes, I have it set for auto-connect to some of these locations.
    Thank you, hope it helps.

WiFi Settings Window pops up upon WiFi connections since last update (Creator?)

    Hi,

To address your concern regarding the frequent pop-up window of the WiFi settings, we'd like to know the following:

    • The specific pop-up window that keeps appearing on your desktop.
    • If there are many WiFi network connections in your vicinity.
    • If you set your PC to automatically connect to a WiFi.
We're looking forward to your response.
