Windows 10: WIFI not working after bsod crash

Hello. Right now I was playing game called Raft. I was called for dinner and I went. When I get back to my laptop, the game was closed. Well, I saw how it crashed, but did not see the error message of the BSOD. I looked at the taskbar, and the ethernet icon was showing instead of wifi. I do not have ethernet connectivity. I looked at the device manager, the WIFI adapter driver was still there. I also tried restarting, but no luck. What do I do?

Computer Crashes when connecting to Lumia 920 shared internet

I have tried plenty of wifi networks with my windows 7 laptop, and it works fine, except when I try to connect to my lumia 920 shared internet. Then is is BSOD. I tried upgrading the wifi driver but it still does it. Before upgrading it it would crash immediately
after entering the password (wihtout the lumia saying "1 guest"). After upgrading it first connects ok (1 guest is shown) but it doesnt provide internet access, and if I run teh troubleshooter it crashes to BSOD.



What is hte difference between lumia 920 wifi and all others, that could possibly make a network driver crash? Even my old 800 wifi works fine, HTC sensation works fine, samsung Note is fine. It is only the Lumia 920.

 

After updating anniversary edition, getting BSOD when connects to the WiFi network.

Already tried this. It reboots, reinstalls the driver and once you connect to the Wifi SSID then it BSOD.

As long as you do not connect to the WIFI then you can use the computer.

The driver crashing is the realtek 8821ae.

I tried to load the older version and it then receives a security BSOD.

I put Windows 10 back on and things work normally.

 

For maximum hope of fixing it I asked it on yahoo. It told me to disable and reenable the driver and restart. Fixed
