Windows 10: Wifi not working on my Windows 11 laptop

I am at a loss with this… I think it’s a network adapter issue. IntelR Wireless-AC 9260 160MHz. Driver version 21.80.2.3 I do not have an ethernet plugin to hardwire to the network. It shows intermittently that I have internet connection. But no access to any sites. Microsoft cannot complete an update check though when it has intermittently worked it doesn’t show any updates required. I have followed all of the steps recommended:- confirmed this is only an issue with the laptop, reset and tested all modem/booster components. I have fibre high speed internet under 2 years old, and one b

Are you making sure you are trying the correct driver for the WiFi... They list Broadcom, Intel, and/or Realtek.

Also, try to run the installer as an administrator install.

If that fails... try extracting the files and manually install the driver.

• If you have an identical laptop try comparing the wifi and security settings of the one that does not disconnect with the one that does. If you find any differences change the settings of the one that does not work to the one that does.

• If you do not have an identical laptop see this post and the three replies for possible solutions: Wifi disconnects every 5 minutes.
